The AIE will be partner of a new EU funded project on Employability of Adults starting in November 2017.

The project CREATE, Competitive Regions Employability of Adults through Education, has been submitted by a German partner in the framework of the EU Programme Erasmus+ (Support regions to invest better EU funds for Adult Education, KA2 Adult Education) and it has been recently selected for funding.

The overall objective is to reduce geographic disparities in educational opportunities and outcomes across and within EU regions. CREATE’ will enhance policy formulation and promote evidence-based AE policy and practice, also by further aligning strategy, policy and funding of Adult Education.

The main activities of the project are the following:
1) Benchmark and comparatively assess Adult Education policies for regional development
2) Extrapolate best practices, lessons learned, effective policy options and tools.
3) Build CREATE ToolBox for policy makers on how to embed AE in regional economic development strategies.

The project has a duration of two years and will officially start in November 2017.

The partnership is composed by eight partners from Germany, Czech Republic, Ireland, Belgium and Italy. As Croatian partner, the AIE will be involved mainly in the dissemination activities as network representing the interest of AIE members from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro.
