From 26 to 28 August 2025, the partners of the PROMONT project met in Berat (Albania) for the third partnership meeting, a two-day event that combined strategic discussions, technical presentations, and field activities. The gathering offered an important opportunity to assess the project’s progress, review the methodological framework under development, and coordinate the next steps across the different work packages.

The Secretariat of the Adriatic-Ionian Euroregion actively participated in the meeting and presented the first draft of the project’s capitalisation plan, prepared in its role as coordinator of the “Capitalisation and Transferring” Work Package. This contribution allowed partners to begin shaping the strategy for transferring and replicating project results across the Adriatic-Ionian region.
The meeting also included a field visit to Mount Tomorr, where partners engaged with local stakeholders and attended a demonstration of drone-based monitoring activities. These on-site exchanges strengthened the partnership’s understanding of the local environmental context and highlighted the strong relationship between natural heritage, community involvement, and conservation efforts. Additional visits to key cultural and natural sites, such as the Bogova waterfall and the historic castle of Berat, reinforced the integrated approach of PROMONT, which combines environmental protection with the valorisation of cultural identity. The event successfully deepened cooperation among partners and set a solid foundation for the continuation of activities ahead of the next project meeting scheduled for January 2026 in Slovenia.
