Around 100 participants from across the Mediterranean gathered in Tirana on 1–2 October 2025 for the Annual Meeting of the Sustainable Tourism Community, organised by Community4Tourism and hosted by the University of Tirana’s Faculty of Economy.
The event brings together project partners, thematic projects, and representatives from institutions across the Mediterranean. The event focused on strengthening cooperation within the mission and advancing the work of the thematic clusters through knowledge exchange and collaborative analysis.
The Adriatic-Ionian Euroregion was actively represented at the event through the participation of its Secretary General, Francesco Cocco and its project officer, Andrea Di Girolamo.
He moderated one of the panel discussions during the first day and facilitated the activities of the MED Cluster on Innovation during the second day, supporting discussions on transferability, common challenges, and the development of thematic contributions.
Their participation confirmed the Euroregion’s ongoing commitment to Sustianable Tourism and Euromediterranean cooperation.
