We are pleased to announce that the Adriatic Ionian Euroregion (AIE), as partner of the Dialogue4Innovation project under the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, continues to support the IVY initiative — Interreg Volunteer Youth.

Launched by the European Commission in 2017, IVY offers young people between the ages of 18 and 30 the chance to contribute as volunteers within organisations dedicated to European cooperation. It’s a meaningful opportunity to gain experience, make a difference, and work on building a stronger, more united Europe.

We warmly welcome Martina Giacomodonato, our new IVY Reporter!

Over the coming months, Martina will collaborate closely with the AIE project team to support the implementation of Dialogue4Innovation and help give greater visibility to the ongoing cooperation efforts within the Mediterranean region.

Martina is a young Italian professional with a background in Law. She brings her passion, expertise, and Mediterranean identity to our team with the aim of enhancing the visibility of our actions and promoting topics aligned with her personal and professional interests.

“As European citizen, I wanted to join a programme that actively addresses issues that concern me to amplify my commitment. Working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment to build a better future for Europe and the Mediterranean is, for me, a true motivation and a major goal.”
