In the framework of the GEAR-UP! Project (co-funded by the EU DEAR Programme), AIE is launching a Public Notice aimed at funding projects in the field of European Global Citizenship.

The specific objective outlined in this Terms of Reference (ToR) will be achieved through financial support to third parties, aimed at co-financing projects and thematic campaigns related to Global Citizenship Education (GCE), the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainable development, gender equality, and awareness-raising.

This support will be granted to Local Authorities (LAs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) that lack sufficient financial, administrative, or managerial capacity to apply directly for EU funds.

The use of third-party financial support mechanisms will allow for broader outreach to Local Authorities and Civil Society Organisations, helping to mobilise, activate, and engage a larger number of EU citizens – particularly young people – on global issues.

This Public Notice has TWO ROUNDS OF DEADLINES:

1. The first round of project applications is open exclusively to potential candidates from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

2. In the coming months, a second round of funding will be launched, dedicated to Albania and North Macedonia

For more details on this opportunity, please refer to the Term of Reference and full Application Package

The application deadline is 15 May 2025
