On 7th June 2023, an event named ‘’Visors and virtual reality to narrate the sea” took place from 5.30 pm to 7 pm in the meeting Room of TRIESTE CONVENTION CENTER TCC Railway Station Hall – Trieste (Italy).

On that day Techera project was in Trieste for concluding the study case where were briefly presented:

  • the SUSHIDROP drone monitoring of Miramare with relevant results (UNIBO)
  • the embedding of such results into the FAIRSEA platform (OGS)
  • the virtual reality tool produced by ADRIREEF (Comune di Ravenna)
  • other visualization tools and products by Miramare Marine Reserve team

The event focused on the public presentation of some innovative technologies used for environmental-marine monitoring and aimed at the creation of virtual tour routes. Through the use of 3D visors we explored protected marine areas, wrecks and artificial recovery zones.

The event has been organised for the Interreg Italy-Croatia Techera Project , with the participation of OGS – Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale, AMP Miramare, the University of Bologna and the Municipality of Ravenna.
