On 3rd March 2023, the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics (OGS), one of Techera project’s partners, organized in Trieste a training meeting with Miramare Marine researchers to support BLUESCHOOLSMED, the initiative organized at European level to promote the study of marine sciences in schools.
The event characterized by a full morning of lecture, quiz and games for the students was a very successful experience which saw the participation of students from four European countries, who had the opportunity to have a discussion about blue skills, the sea, its biodiversity and sustainable fishing by playing Fish n’ Ships, the game developed for the FAIRSEA and TECHERA projects.
Approximately 60 people (students, accompanying people and teachers) not only from Italy but also from other countries (Malta, Greece, France) were present at the event, which was part of the Erasmus+ program
