The beginning of May 2013 (the 8th and the 9th) will be full of events for all the partners of the Adriatic-Ionian Euroregion, expecially for Croatia that is preparing to join the EU. On the 8th of May 2013 will be held, in fact, at 09.30 am in Rijeka (Croatia), at the headquarters of the County Primorsko-Montana, the Executive Committee of the Euroregion.
Several points are included in the agenda. The event will be introduced by the President of Euroregion, Michele Iorio. He will introduce the main theme of the two days of debate, that is the evolution of the Adriatic-Ionian macro-regional strategy and the entry of Croatia into European Union.
The following day, the 9thof May, at the Palazzo Bembo in Valle, will be held the official opening ceremony of the Centre for the European Union and for international cooperation, that is a part of celebrations of the European Week 2013 in Istria.
The center, funded through the project AdriGov, will focus on education and information on Europen projects and programs. During the two-day workshop, partners will discuss about international cooperation and will talk about the strategic projects IPA Adriatic and the new CBC programs.
Another key issue will be the development of the Adriatic-Ionian Euroregion. Participants will talk also about the project “AdriGov”, during the meeting of the Technical Committee and the institutional “project management unit”, that will be held in Bale on May the 8th.
