The Executive Committee of the Adriatic Ionian Euroregion took place on June 5, 2025, in Tirana, hosted by European House, the EU’s hub in the Albanian capital.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Tirana Regional Council and was attended by the following AIE members: Dubrovnik Neretva County, Tirana Regional Council, Shkodër Regional Council, Herzegovina Neretva Canton, Molise Region, and the Municipality of Kotor.
Prior to the committee meeting, the Gear UP! Project Info Day was held, where AIE presented the project’s opportunities to Albanian Civil Society and Youth Organizations.
The Executive Committee was opened and moderated by AIE President Nikola Dobroslavic, supported by AIE Secretary General Francesco Cocco. Members discussed financial matters of the association, upcoming activities, governance, and the next General Assembly.
Several members actively participated in the discussions, including Aldrin Dalipi, President of the Tirana Regional Council; Marija Buhač, Prime Minister of Herzegovina Neretva Canton; Gaspare Tocci, delegate for Molise Region; and Jelena Stjepcevic, delegate from the Municipality of Kotor.
The minutes of the meeting, including the decisions taken, will be distributed soon to the members of the Executive Committee.
