The CPMR is organising a series of events in Tirana (Albania) at Tirana International Hotel on 20-21 November 2018, as part of the EU-funded AI-NURECC Initiative, with the contribution of the partners of the project and in particular with the support of the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce which will be responsible for the organisation of a specific workshop on Creative Industries.

The CPMR will specifically organise:

20 November 2018 (am): A FORUM on EU Policies and EU Territorial Cooperation Opportunities focused on Technology, Innovation and Youth in the Adriatic-Ionian area.

20 November 2018 (pm): A TRAINING WORKSHOP  that will focus on the practicalities of repairing and implementing successful cooperation projects in the EUSAIR.

21 November 2018 (am): AN INFO-KIOSK aiming to support dialogue in the field of cultural heritage and tourism, by offering visibility to the non-EU Members and promoting the diversity and the great potential of the Adriatic-Ionian Region.

The Forum AIC will specifically organise:

21 November 2018 (from 13:30 – 16:00 pm)TRAINING WORKSHOP ON CCI START-UP “CREATIVE AND CULTURAL INDUSTRIES IN THE EUSAIR AREA” presenting also the Adriatic Start-up School model.

The Secretariat of the Adriatic Ionian Euroregion is planned to attend and support the events. Furthermore Aldrin DALIPI, President of Tirana Regional Council, and Vice President of the AIE is going to contribute to the opening session. Valter FLEGO, President of the Istria Region (Croatia) will be one of the panellist in the session 1 – “Macro-Regional Strategies: between the Present and the Future of the European Policies”.

The CPMR events fall under the AI-NURECC Skills Development and Training Action and the AI-NURECC Task Force on Tourism and Cultural Heritage. Such events are aimed to bring together young people, politicians and officers from Regional and Local Authorities and representatives of Chambers of Commerce, Universities, VET, NGOs, Managing Authorities of ETC programmes, Interreg Project Managers. The overall goal is to give an effective added value to the implementation of the EUSAIR macro-regional strategy.

The workshop coordinated by the AIC Forum will explore the great potential of the innovative creative and cultural industries in EUSAIR area.
