Mr. Francesco Cocco, Secretary General of Adriatic Ionian Euroregion, has successfully participated to the first Youth Adrinet Cross-border event in Campobasso on 20 March 2013, giving his contribution to the conference on the following theme: “The young generation: a priority of the new Adriatic-Ionian Strategy”

The event has been organized in Molise in the framework of YOUTH ADRINET a project financed under the IPA Adriatic Cross-border Cooperation by Province of Campobasso in cooperation with Molise job agency and with the Provincial Forum of Youths. It has been hosted in Campobasso on the 20, 21 and 22nd of March 2013. Location of the meeting: the Ex Gil, an extraordinary building that has been just restored and that is now beck and call for young people of Campobasso.

The project Youth Adrinet intends to promote actions finalized to the increase of the European identity and the active participation in the social life of young people in the multi-cultural and multi-ethnical framework of the Adriatic area. YOUTH ADRINET proposes to foster the mutual acquaintance, the development of joined methodologies and the setting up of new job opportunities in a vast area context, in order to increase the youth active participation in the public life.

More than 1000 youths and many institutional authorities took part at this key meeting, that has given a big emphasis to the project Youth Adrinet and the importance of the young generation for the future of Adriatic and Ionian area.
